Born and raised in Trinidad and Tobago, Amanda is energetic and enthusiastic in sharing the benefits of sport psychology and assisting athletes to reach their optimal potential. Experience working as the primary sport psychology consultant for her country's national athletes has molded her into the well-rounded professional she is today. Throughout her secondary school years, Amanda participated in soccer, captaining her team for two consecutive years. Upon completion of her degrees in the United States, she returned home and played one year of professional women's soccer. In addition to playing, Amanda has also served as a junior coach to a home based soccer club as well as a Physical Education teacher to a primary school, before taking up her permanent post as a Sport Psychology Consultant. This culmination of experience has aided Amanda in a deeper understanding of the effects of sports from various perspectives and roles, and has no doubt contributed to her consulting experience.
